Hebrews 10:30 (CSB) For we know the one who has said, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, and again, The Lord will judge his people.
Deuteronomy 32:34-36 (CSB) 34 "Is it not stored up with me, sealed up in my vaults? 35 "Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay. In time their foot will slip, for their day of disaster is near, and their doom is coming quickly." 36 The LORD will indeed vindicate his people and have compassion on his servants when he sees that their strength is gone and no one is left -- slave or free.
The writer of Hebrews quoted Moses' song from Deuteronomy 32:35-36. God is describing what will happen to the nation of Israel if they do not follow The Lord in all that they do. I do believe that any other nation can befall the same judgement if they do not follow The Lord.
Psalm 128:4 (CSB)
In this very way the man who fears the LORD will be blessed.
Psalm 37:22 (CSB)
Those who are blessed by the LORD will inherit the land, but those cursed by him will be destroyed.
Isaiah 61:9 (CSB)
Their descendants will be known among the nations, and their posterity among the peoples. All who see them will recognize that they are a people the LORD has blessed.
Jeremiah 17:7 (CSB)
The person who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed.
I would rather be a person who is blessed by God than a person cursed by God. Lord help me to trust in you. Let me not lean on my own understanding but in ALL my ways let be acknowledge You! Help me to not be ashamed of You but tell everyone who you are and that You love them.
