Matthew 18:19 (CSB) "Again, truly I tell you, if two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.
I think back to Euodia and Syntyche in Philippians 4:2. Paul had asked them to agree with each other. I wonder if they were great prayer warriors for Paul and the Philippi church. And if they reconciled their differences and pray together that they would see great things happen through their prayers. I also know a couple, that are good friends with my wife and I, that pray together. They have seen some good things come out of their prayers together. I also go to a church that often have half the people up at the alter praying with anyone who needs anything. All three of these groups: 2 prayer warriors, a couple, and members of a church fit this verse and can see God doing things according their prayers. Amen is thrown at the end of all our prayer. It is there so that the others praying can repeat it with agreement. They are saying: so it is, so be it, may it be fulfilled.
Amos 3:3 (CSB) Can two walk together without agreeing to meet?
Ecclesiastes 4:12 (CSB) And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken.
