Acts 1:8 (CSB) "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

This verse was the beginning of what I send out. I learned about Quiet Times (QT) from the college ministry at Rio called SEARCH. But I was not passing it along to others to bless and encourage them. Until one Sunday morning before church about 8 years ago I read Acts 1:8 for the 1000th time and I asked God, "What is the power that You have given me?" He answered me before I began to teach Sunday school. He said, "This is your power." To give out the word of God. He has giving me the wisdom and knowledge of the word of God to be able to pass it on accurately. So that is what I began to do with Sunday school class then and with my QT I send out. I was acting like the Dead Sea before and now I try to be the Sea of Galilee and the Jordan river.

What is your Power God has given you? You will find it in one of these verses if you do not know. 1 Corinthians 12:7-11 and Romans 12:6-8.

"And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

This is what I consider the evangelism target. It is made up of concentric circles of influence. Jerusalem is our closest people it is the place we are right now. Judaea is the next place God is sending us among "our own people". Samaria is next it is place of stretching for us to witness to those who are not like us. The ends of the earth is as far as God will send us. The discipleship target is found in 2 Timothy 2:2. I have also found God's target somewhere and when I find it again I will pass it on.
