Matthew 28:17 (CSB) When they saw him, they worshiped, but some doubted.

This is fitting for today also. All to often we see Jesus moving in situations and in lives and yet we doubt. Who did they go to see? Some went to see Jesus. Some went not sure of anything, still confused. Others went because of the encouragement of the first group. Some people today go to church to see Jesus. Others just go because they are still confused, they know that Jesus offers the power and joy in life, but they have not seen it in awhile. While still others head to church because others have invited them. Let us applaud all of them for going, and pray that they will believe and not doubt that Jesus is who we go to see at church.

Matthew 11:7-9 (CSB) 7 As these men were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowds about John: "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swaying in the wind? 8 "What then did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothes? See, those who wear soft clothes are in royal palaces. 9 "What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet.
