Matthew 4:18 (CSB) As he was walking along the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon (who is called Peter), and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea -- for they were fishermen.
This is not the first time Jesus had meet Peter and Andrew. The first time was in John 1:29-42. Jesus was baptized and John told two of his disciples there is Jesus, they left John's ministry to join Jesus' ministry. One of the disciples was Andrew. After Andrew spent the day with Jesus he found Peter to introduce him to Jesus. Without the boldness and excitement of Andrew to tell Peter about Jesus, Peter may have never delivered the first sermon on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2) and about 3000 people got saved that day. Billy Graham would not have preached to his Billions if it was not for Mordecai Ham who introduced him to Jesus. The people we tell about Jesus may someday tell many more people about Jesus. It is our job to go and tell others about Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15).
Romans 10:14-15 (CSB) 14 How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.
