Isaiah 53:4 (CSB) 4 Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted.

Jesus is the only one who can carry our sicknesses and pains. Modern medicine only covers our sicknesses and pains, but Jesus heals, and removes them. Jesus can do this only because He submitted Himself to God. He became the answer to all of our sin and rebellion. Not an excuse to sin but an offering to cleanse us from our sins. Have we fully trusted Jesus as our savior, messiah, to save us from our sin, to welcome us into heaven? Have we fully trusted in Jesus as our Lord to do what He would tell us to do? Have we fully repented from our sins to get them washed away in the blood of Jesus? If so congrats we are children and friends of God! If not then we are aliens, foreigners, and strangers to God!

2 Corinthians 5:21 (CSB) He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Romans 5:8 (CSB) But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Peter 3:18 (CSB) For Christ also suffered for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit,

Acts 2:36 (CSB)
"Therefore let all the house of Israel know with certainty that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Messiah."

Acts 4:10 (CSB)
"let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified and whom God raised from the dead -- by him this man is standing here before you healthy.

Jeremiah 3:12-14 (CSB) 12 "Go, proclaim these words to the north, and say, 'Return, unfaithful Israel. This is the LORD's declaration. I will not look on you with anger, for I am unfailing in my love. This is the LORD's declaration. I will not be angry forever. 13 "Only acknowledge your guilt -- you have rebelled against the LORD your God. You have scattered your favors to strangers under every green tree and have not obeyed me. This is the LORD's declaration. 14 " 'Return, you faithless children -- this is the LORD's declaration -- for I am your master, and I will take you, one from a city and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

Ephesians 2:18-19 (CSB) 18 For through him (Jesus) we both have access in one spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with the saints, and members of God's household.
