Romans 6:13 (CSB) And do not offer any parts of it to sin as weapons for unrighteousness. But as those who are alive from the dead, offer yourselves to God, and all the parts of yourselves to God as weapons for righteousness.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (CSB) 3 For although we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh, 4 since the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but are powerful through God for the demolition of strongholds. We demolish arguments 5 and every proud thing that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ.

When we live in the flesh and satisfy it's desires and we wage war in unrighteousness. We end up hurting each other and hindering the work of The Church of Jesus. When we live by The Spirit of Truth we wage war in righteousness. We fight against the devil and his unrighteousness. We will end up doing great harm in the kingdom of the devil and will see many new soldiers in God's army who will be equipped to wage war against the devil. The tactic of the devil is to hinder you and me from reaching our full potential in Christ. Then we will not win the war having rescued many who are living captive by the devil. God's tactic is to empower us to overcome the devil and our flesh so that way we will be able to stand and fight against the devil, for ourselves and for our fellow soldiers in Christ.

2 Timothy 2:3-5 (CSB) 3 Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 4 No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in the concerns of civilian life; he seeks to please the commanding officer. 5 Also, if anyone competes as an athlete, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.

Romans 12:1-2 (CSB) 1 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship. 2 Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

Ephesians 6:10-18 (CSB) 10 Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength. 11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens. 13 For this reason take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand. 14 Stand, therefore, with truth like a belt around your waist, righteousness like armor on your chest, 15 and your feet sandaled with readiness for the gospel of peace. 16 In every situation take up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit -- which is the word of God. 18 Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.
