Romans 6:18 (CSB) and having been set free from sin, you became enslaved to righteousness.

We who are in Christ are no longer slaves to sin! BUT we are slaves to righteousness! There is no middle ground. We were bought with a price and the price we are asked to pay is our life. We are temples of the Holy Spirit so glorify God with your body. Do not let sin reign in your body and satisfy its desires. We don't like being called slaves. We have a bad taste of slavery but God's view of slavery is different.  For we are servants of God. We are friends of God. We are Children of God. So our enslavement to God is one of obedient Children not of slaves under a horrible taskmaster. We are brothers and sisters of Jesus if we continue in his teaching, and do the will of the father. We are to present our lives as a living sacrifice to God which is our reasonable service. He gave up His life and now He asks us to do the same.  In turn He will give us life more abundantly! He will give us crowns of Life.  He satisfies our souls!

 1 Corinthians 6:19 (CSB)
Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,

Romans 12:1 (CSB) Therefore, brothers and sisters, in view of the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your true worship.

Mark 3:32-35 (CSB) 32 A crowd was sitting around him and told him, "Look, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside asking for you." 33 He replied to them, "Who are my mother and my brothers? " 34 Looking at those sitting in a circle around him, he said, "Here are my mother and my brothers! 35 "Whoever does the will of God is my brother and sister and mother."
