What are we deeply committed to? Where does our passion lie? Sure we can be passionate for a good cause but with out love it is nothing (1 Corinthians 13:1-3). The apostle Simon the Zealot had a great passion against Rome and anyone who sided with them, like tax collectors. His passion was pointed at the wrong thing and Jesus wanted to use his passion toward the Kingdom of God. Paul had passion against the Christians and God turned it around and used it for the Kingdom of God. this day we have so many different groups that are passionate for a variety of different agendas, but the one that really counts is God’s will to be done. So what are we passionate about? Is it in God’s will?
