Hebrews 9:23 (CSB) Therefore, it was necessary for the copies of the things in the heavens to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves to be purified with better sacrifices than these.
The tent and the alter are the copies of the ones in God’s presence.

I think Moses was shown the heavenly altar and tent of meeting so that way he can copy it for God’s worship here on earth. We learn how to worship God here on earth so that way when we get to heaven we will be ready to step into an eternity worship service. It will not be a boring mundane worship service, but will be worship while we serve God in what ever job He has for us to to do. Just like we are to work for God now while we are here.
Mark 7:37 (CSB) They were extremely astonished and said, "He has done everything well. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak."
Colossians 3:22-23 (CSB) 22 Slaves, obey your human masters in everything. Don't work only while being watched, as people-pleasers, but work wholeheartedly, fearing the Lord. 23 Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people,

For the copy of the heavenly ark and tent served as a teaching tool to help the children of Jacob worship God, so life here on earth serves as a teaching guild to serve and love God.
There are two things that we can touch now here on earth that will be with us in eternity, People and The Word of God (until it is accomplished).
Matthew 25:32-34 (CSB) 32 "All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate them one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 "He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on the left. 34 "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.
Matthew 5:18 (NLT) I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not even the smallest detail of God's law will disappear until its purpose is achieved.
So why not get in the Word of God today and learn what God has for you today. And why not let the others know around you that Jesus is the answer for all the worlds problems. We show our devotion to God to the world by showing them Love. “By this all men will know that you are my disciple if you show love to one another” (John 13:34-35).
