“But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love that He had for us, made us alive with the Messiah even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!” Ephesians 2:4-5 HCSB
But GOD! I love it when the Bible states “but God”. It shows me when God has stepped down to be involved in the lives of us, his imperfect people. We were dead in sin but God sent Jesus on the first Noel. To die and raise again for us on the first Easter Sunday. But why does He do all this for us? Because He loves us sooo much that He was willing to loose His Son for 3 days so that we may be with Him for all eternity.
““For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.”

In the begging God was looking for company in the human race. Not that He was lonely but because He loved them so much. After Adam and Eve ate from the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, God came down to fellowship with them as was His routine.
“Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and they hid themselves from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. So the Lord God called out to the man and said to him, “Where are you? ””
