Remind who? The elders of the church in every city of Crete (Titus 1:5). Remind them of what?
- To be submissive to rulers and authorities
We may or may not like the current president or the party in power, but God had ordained them to be there. They are there to accomplish God’s master plan. He may have them there to accomplish some good purpose. Or they may be there to expose some error in their morals.

- To obey
To obey whom? God (the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit), governing people, parents, mentors, and pastors. We cannot obey every new idea that passes our way, but everyone who has proved to us that they are following God. Which means we need to be watching people while reading the Bible and praying to see who we should follow.
