What Light shines into the darkness? Vs 4 the light of men. What do we do to project the life and light of Jesus? One way is to give our testimony. Our story of how God saved us and has turned our life around. We can sum it up in 5 minutes or less or we can give it over a course of time, but the more we talk about what God has done in our life the more we can encourage Christians to keep the faith.  The more we talk about it the more of a positive influence we can be toward those pre-christians in our life.  Paul stood before kings and governors giving his life story.  And in Acts 28 we see some fruit of Pauls testimony. 

"Then Agrippa said to Paul, "Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily? " "I wish before God," replied Paul, "that whether easily or with difficulty, not only you but all who listen to me today might become as I am — except for these chains.""

We have no idea the full impact our words have on people. But the more we talk about Jesus in a positive light the more fruit we will bear in Jesus name.

Another way the light of Men shine the Life of Jesus is through our actions. The people who know us or are watching us will not listen to our testimony if we are not acting like Jesus. If Jesus is Lord of our Lives He has the ability to tell us what to do. If He is not Lord then we don't listen to Him and we don't do as He says.  Lord and obedience go hand in hard. Obedience then leads to questions from others and then we can tell them of Jesus.

"but honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you."

But if you don't worship it, you will immediately be thrown into a furnace of blazing fire — and who is the god who can rescue you from my power? If the God we serve exists, then He can rescue us from the furnace of blazing fire, and He can rescue us from the power of you, the king. The last way the light of Men can shine the Life of Jesus is through the Music we listen to. The Music we listen to will tell us what we worship. If your music encourages you toward Jesus then your on the right track.  If it is not then you are headed toward an Idol that someone else has set up. Nebuchadnezzar had horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, drum, and every kind of music setup to play and when the people heard it they were to worship the Golden statue. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego however was listen to another music that told them to not worship the image but God. Because of their stance and faith In God they did not bow down but stood up for God. Then after they were brought out of the furnace, Nebuchadnezzar issued a decree that all the inhabitants of his kingdom was to respect the God of those three boys (Daniel 3:29).
