“The true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.” John 1:9 HCSB
Light showed up on the earth on the first day. This light was not the light of the sun as we know it, it was the Light of the glory of God. Jesus is that light. He was not created on the first day but was revealed to the formless world on day one.
"Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness covered the surface of the watery depths, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. God saw that the light was good, and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light "day," and He called the darkness "night." Evening came and then morning: the first day."

The light continues until the end. In Revelation 21 we find out that the Light shines in heaven. There is no darkness and there is no sun, but the Glory of God is the light in the new Jerusalem.
"The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, because God's glory illuminates it, and its lamp is the Lamb."

Does God's Glory shine in my life? Does it shine out of my life. The pictures of old show halos behind and over peoples heads. Moses face shown with a brightness after he went to the mountain to be with God.
"As Moses descended from Mount Sinai — with the two tablets of the testimony in his hands as he descended the mountain — he did not realize that the skin of his face shone as a result of his speaking with the Lord. When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, the skin of his face shone! They were afraid to come near him.
and the Israelites would see that Moses' face was radiant. Then Moses would put the veil over his face again until he went to speak with the Lord."
Exodus 34:29-30, 35 HCSB

I think Moses face was radiant with God's glory because God would speak face to face with Moses.
"The Lord spoke with Moses face to face, just as a man speaks with his friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his assistant, the young man Joshua son of Nun, would not leave the inside of the tent."

God wants to speak to us. He wants a relationship with us. He wants us, all of us, all of our time, ambitions, and goals. God is a jealous God he wants to be first in all our life.
The best was to give God our first is to give God a few minutes of our day each and every morning. Moses had to climb a mountain to meet with God in Exodus 34:1-3. David in Psalm 143:8 wanted God's presence, love, and direction in the morning. Jesus in Mark 1:35 escaped the crowd to spend time with the father in the morning. The people would gather early in the morning to hear Jesus in the morning (Luke 21:38).
"Because of the Lord's faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness! I say: The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in Him."

God's love in new to each one of us every morning. Most of the unclean situations God presents in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy lasted till evening so then the people would be clean in the morning when they woke up.
"But I call to You for help, Lord; in the morning my prayer meets You."
Psalms 88:13 HCSB

"Satisfy us in the morning with Your faithful love so that we may shout with joy and be glad all our days."
