When was the last time you were amazed by Jesus? Maybe it was the last time you received a monetary blessings like someone paying for your meal. Maybe it was the time you passed a wreck and realized that Jesus had held you up in traffic so that you would miss the accident. Jesus wowed the normal people of Israel with His Works so much so that Jesus’ reputation went before Him. the man that was blind was excited to hear that Jesus was passing His way (Luke 18:35-43). Zacchaeus was so excited to see Jesus that he climbed a tree just to be taller so that he could see Jesus.
Have we become so comfortable with our walk with Jesus that His nature is common to us? That his healing power is not felt when we touch Him? Is His presence just another average day to us? I’m afraid to say that my life these last few months have been that way for me. I have not enjoyed or looked forward to Jesus friendship.
Jesus most impressive wow he demonstrated was the days we call easter weekend (Good Friday and Resection Sunday). These days is what separates Christianity from any other religion. All the leaders of all the other religions died but Jesus is the only one to raise back to life. Why? Because He wants to have a wowed fellowship with us. He wants us in His army when He takes Satin and his followers down for the last time. He wants to give you the keys to your own mansion in Heaven. He wants to be apart of your life to tell you all that He has planed for your life. Will you let him?
