“Don’t you yourselves know that you are God’s sanctuary and that the Spirit of God lives in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 HCSB https://www.bible.com/72/1co.3.16.hcsb
You are God’s sanctuary. You are God’s church. There has been a respect for the church in America till recent years. Because the world at large has known that there is a God there. That should be the same respect we have for our bodies. God lives in us. The Holy Spirit lives in us. He has been sent from Heaven to take place of the physical presence of Jesus. He is the one who will remind us what sin is. He is the one who will give us the right words to say at the right time. He is the one who will remind us what The Bible says, if we have read it. He is the one who fills us.
“So when they arrest you and hand you over, don’t worry beforehand what you will say. On the contrary, whatever is given to you in that hour — say it. For it isn’t you speaking, but the Holy Spirit.”

“And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit. You were sealed by Him for the day of redemption.”
Ephesians 4:30 HCSB

How do we grieve the Holy Spirit? By sinning. By not following His leading. By not obeying His directions. If there are two people and one is constantly ignored when they put in their advice they will stop putting in their advice. If we are not following God’s advice then He will not give it until we repent and ask Him for His advice again. That is grieving the Holy Spirit.
