Perry Stone translated this verse in his message “4 seconds from eternity” as: if you do something to destroy your body God will not prevent the destruction. No one is absolute certainly condemned to hell. Every person is given multiple opportunities to repent.  But I want to focus on God’s temple is holy and that is what you are. 

We are the place where the spirit of God rests. We are the place of the ark of the covenant. We are the place where God comes to talk to mankind. We no longer have to go to Jerusalem to fellowship with God. We do not have to seek forgiveness from God through a man. We go to church to worship God. We go to church to learn more about God. We go to church to strengthen each other. But we do not go because that is the only place where God can talk to us. We are a holy vessel that God wants to use to draw others to Himself. You are Holy! You are the temple of God where His spirit resides. Where His Son has prepared as clean.  Where He has decided to have fellowship with you.
