The spirit of the world as to offer hatred, despair, doubt. 

“Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance — as I told you before — that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

But The Spirit of God offers faith, hope, and love.

The devil sees God design for the whole picture. He wants God’s throne and He is willing to do anything to make it happen. He has even gone as far as to mimic God. The devil as three parts like God. We have God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. The devil has, satan as god, the antichrist as the son and beelzebub as the spirit. 

“The scribes who had come down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul in Him! ” and, “He drives out demons by the ruler of the demons! ””

But see this the devil does not walk along looking like himself. He makes himself look like God. In the end He is still here to steel, kill, and destroy. 

“For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no great thing if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their destiny will be according to their works.”

God as given us the perfect Gift through Jesus and that is sonship, and daughtership in His kingdom. And with that comes enormous benefits. Seek after God to find out what is yours in Christ Jesus. And be willing to lay aside the old bondage to pick it up.
