Hey Christian God is not plotting your demise, the devil is. Hey non-christian God is not plotting your demise, you are. When we become a follower of God we gain an enemy, the devil. When we are not following God, Satin has us. 

We, out of our own free will, do not choose God. No one makes us. No one forces us. But we choose to not follow God. God is always wanting us to follow Him. He loving welcomes us every time we want to return back to Him, but He will not force you back into His fellowship. He waits for us to be ready. God does not make bad things to happen to His people, but He allows it. He knows that whatever we face we can handle it and that the us on the other side will be a better son or daughter of Him. He knows that we will be better Christians because of it. 

Is God with you? Do you rejoice over what God has done in your life? Or do you sit in your own self made pit of pity? Too ashamed to ask for forgiveness for the umpteenth time. 

When we get there God is still waiting to welcome us back in. When we stay in our pit of pity sin has accomplished what the devil set it out do! It beats us down and discourages us from telling others about the goodness of God so that they may be encouraged to follow God for themselves.
