“Go, my people, enter your rooms and close your doors behind you. Hide for a little while until the wrath has passed.” Isaiah 26:20 HCSB
This verse sounds like the earth will be experiencing another Passover.
“Here is how you must eat it: you must be dressed for travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in a hurry; it is the Lord’s Passover. “I will pass through the land of Egypt on that night and strike every firstborn male in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. I am Yahweh; I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. The blood on the houses where you are staying will be a distinguishing mark for you; when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No plague will be among you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt.
Take a cluster of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and brush the lintel and the two doorposts with some of the blood in the basin. None of you may go out the door of his house until morning. When the Lord passes through to strike Egypt and sees the blood on the lintel and the two doorposts, He will pass over the door and not let the destroyer enter your houses to strike you.”

They were to be dressed and ready to travel at anytime. They were not to leave their house until after the destroyer had passes through the whole land.
The same theme was to be observed by Rahab and all her household.
“The men said to her, “We will be free from this oath you made us swear, unless, when we enter the land, you tie this scarlet cord to the window through which you let us down. Bring your father, mother, brothers, and all your father’s family into your house. If anyone goes out the doors of your house, his blood will be on his own head, and we will be innocent. But if anyone with you in the house should be harmed, his blood will be on our heads.”

Rehab was to hide all her house in her house. If they left during the week of marching and was outside when the walls came down they would be treated like everyone else. Her house was built into the wall of Jericho and when the wall fell her house was safe. God kept his hand on her house to keep everyone in it safe, but I don’t think her building was live able afterward.
Jesus touched on the subject when he said: “But when you pray, go into your private room, shut your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.”

We don’t know when God’s judgement will be excited on the earth. But if we can be prayed up and ready. We will not fall into the hands of His judgment.
Are we ready for God to judge this world? Are we expecting Jesus to return and take us home to Him? Are those around us ready? Have we told them about Jesus’ love? Do they know your different by your actions and words then the rest of the world? Or are we doubting and saying, “God will not be returning for sometime?
“About the times and the seasons: Brothers, you do not need anything to be written to you. For you yourselves know very well that the Day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. When they say, “Peace and security,” then sudden destruction comes on them, like labor pains come on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.”

““Who then is a faithful and sensible slave, whom his master has put in charge of his household, to give them food at the proper time? That slave whose master finds him working when he comes will be rewarded. I assure you: He will put him in charge of all his possessions. But if that wicked slave says in his heart, ‘My master is delayed,’ and starts to beat his fellow slaves, and eats and drinks with drunkards, that slave’s master will come on a day he does not expect and at an hour he does not know. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Be ready for Jesus is coming quickly.
“He who testifies about these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!”
