How do we know that the whole creation has been groaning?

“How long will the land mourn and the grass of every field wither? Because of the evil of its residents, animals and birds have been swept away, for the people have said, “He cannot see what our end will be.”

They have made it a desolation. It mourns, desolate, before Me. All the land is desolate, but no one takes it to heart.”

God told us! Do we have proof?

Here we have NPR talking about whistling in space being recorded by two satellites. 

We know the earth is groaning because the Bible tells us and now scientists have begun to hear it too. When science lines up with the word of it is fascinating to me. But the bigger deal is that God has known about it for all time. He has all the knowledge and understanding of how our world works.  So we don’t need to look to science to prove it. We place our trust in God who has known about it forever. 

One area where “Science” and God has not come to the same conclusion is how old the earth is. God says 7,000 years roughly, and science says billions of years. This discrepancy is compounded by “Science’s tools” and theories. When something does not fit they make the earth older to compensate for their oversight. But not with God His story is 7,000 and He is sticking to it. And it started back in Genesis 1:1

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”

He even tells what is going to happen at the end of the earth in Revelation 21:1

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea no longer existed.”

So if science backs up what the Bible says then rejoice that God’s word is still true. If science contradicts what God says then stand on your faith that God knows what He is talking about and science will eventually catch up.
