“Whenever you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by people. I assure you: They’ve got their reward!” Matthew 6:5 HCSB
One again the hypocrites what to be noticed in their prayers. Instead of buying trumpeters they stand to
toot their own horns. But God does not want us to pray in this manner. I wonder in their prayers are even heard? We seek God for His answers to our prayers. If we want to look righteous in the eyes of then we should do this. But then won’t they also call us hypocrites. They will see us standing our soapbox but then they see us latter doing something contrary to what we were praying or the Word of God. I would want to thank them for calling me a hypocrite because they have seen a flaw in my behavior, but for God to call me a hypocrite is not what I want. But rather I would want to do it God’s way from the beginning.
