“No one who denies the Son can have the Father; he who confesses the Son has the Father as well.” 1 John 2:23 HCSB
The Father and the Son are a package deal. We cannot have one without the other.
If we reject Jesus we are rejecting God. If we accept Jesus for why He was sent to the earth then accept God in all He is.
“Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

We cannot get to God unless we go through Jesus.
““If you know Me, you will also know My Father. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him.””
John 14:7 HCSB

The only way we get to know God is through Jesus. All other religions have ways to please their god, but Christianity is the only way to know God.
“Jesus said to him, “Have I been among you all this time without your knowing Me, Philip? The one who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?”
John 14:9 HCSB

The 12 disciples saw Jesus. How he walked, talked, and loved. That is how they saw the Father. We study Jesus and how He walked, talked, and loved and that is how we see the Father.
“Don’t you believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me? The words I speak to you I do not speak on My own. The Father who lives in Me does His works.”
John 14:10 HCSB

Jesus never spoke a word that was not from the Father.
I think we get the point. Without Jesus, the father would be impossible to approach but He has made a way for us to get to God through His work on the cross. We no longer need to worry about our sacrifices being good in His sight, but that through the blood of Jesus we all have an open invitation into the throne room of God.

“May they all be one, as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You. May they also be one in Us, so the world may believe You sent Me.”
