“Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Try to do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes.” Romans 12:17 HCSB
God does not want us to wrong someone because they wronged us. In fact, God does not what us to wrong anyone, but to love everyone. We must do our part if we have wronged someone to make amends. If we know someone has something against us we are to reconcile to them before our gifts are received at church.
“So if you are offering your gift on the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”

What would our churches look like if one Sunday before the praise and worship started the Pastor stood up and declared that we would not be having church until everyone reconciled to those who have a fault against anyone in the congregation? Inside the church and outside the church! The First thing to happen would be that there would be a bunch of repenting inside the church with everyone confession sins to each other.
“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The urgent request of a righteous person is very powerful in its effect.”
James 5:16 HCSB

The second thing to happen would be that there would be one million door knocks on the doors of the world. We would be showing the world that Jesus sill convicts of sins and they would be astonished at the deep heartfelt repentance of us Christians that they would want to see what all this Christian stuff is all about.
The third thing that would happen is that there would be an explosion of people who would be coming to find Jesus as their Savior.
And Last we would have a free and united conversation with God when we all gathered together in worship.
“If anyone says, “I love God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For the person who does not love his brother he has seen cannot love the God he has not seen. And we have this command from Him: The one who loves God must also love his brother.”
1 John 4:20-21 HCSB

So instead of being commanded by a pastor to go reconcile to your neighbor. Why don’t we search our hearts today to let God speak to us whom we need to forgive and reconcile to? And then obey God and reconcile with our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ. And also be reconciled with the people of the world so that they may see Jesus in us. Then next time we are in church our worship will be unhampered and our unity will be complete in God.
What would happen if the Church of Jesus will start walking like Jesus? We would see unity in the Body of Jesus. And all our churches will be filled with people we would never expect to see in Church.
What will continue to happen if the Church of Jesus continues to act like the world and ignoring the One who established the church? We will be spit out of His mouth because we have become tasteless and lukewarm. We will be trampled underfoot because we have become useless to Him.
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth.”
Revelation 3:15-16 HCSB

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt should lose its taste, how can it be made salty? It’s no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled on by men.”
