“Foolish one! What you sow does not come to life unless it dies.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:36‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

Experience in farming for the readers and listeners of Paul’s letter to the Corinthians they would have known that a seed planted in the dirt is dead. But in the correct amount of time and proper conditions, it will spring back to life and produce a plant.

So the seed we sow into heaven has to die to produce a new body for us in heaven. Our time on earth is the sowing process and death is the proper time and conditions for us to spring to a new life in Jesus in heaven.

“Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows he will also reap, because the one who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6:7-8‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

God is not keeping a balance of good seed sown against bad seed sown and whichever is greater that will determine your eternal destination, but He is keeping a log of how much you sow in the spirit to how much you reap in heaven. But then he is also keeping a log on how much seed you sow to the flesh so that you may reap the proper harvest of your flesh. And seed sown to the flesh is sin and the ultimate reaping of the flesh is death with the greatest harvest into hell.

“Remember this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously.”

“Sow righteousness for yourselves and reap faithful love; break up your unplowed ground. It is time to seek the Lord until He comes and sends righteousness on you like the rain.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭10:12‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

“Listen! Consider the sower who went out to sow. As he sowed, this occurred: Some seed fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed fell on rocky ground where it didn’t have much soil, and it sprang up right away, since it didn’t have deep soil. When the sun came up, it was scorched, and since it didn’t have a root, it withered. Other seed fell among thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it didn’t produce a crop. Still others fell on good ground and produced a crop that increased 30, 60, and 100 times what was sown.” Then He said, “Anyone who has ears to hear should listen! ”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭4:3-9‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

Some seed on the path, other seed on the rocks, other seed on with the weeds, other seed on the good ground. The ultimate goal is to sow the most seed on the good ground. While sowing minimal seed on the path. No one who whats to sow into the good ground walks on the path hoping to sow seed in the middle of the field., but rather He walks the entire field sowing the abundance of his seeds into the ready soil of the field.

So it is in our life. We do not sow the Word of God while only walking on the path of the world. But we must walk the way God tells to us walk to get the most seed into our field.
