If Christ has not been raised from the dead then there will be no life in Heaven, then we will be serving God for this life only to face persecution, beatings, hatred, and death. Why would anyone face those things just for loving God who cannot give us eternal life?

But rather we do have a God who can give us eternal life! And because the world knows it is true they will hate us, beat us, persecute us and even rejoice when we die by their hands. We may not face this here in America, yet, but the rest of the world and especially the closer you get to the Middle East the more the Church of Jesus faces this every day.

I do believe persecution is coming to America. And when it does and the church loses the members who will not stand with Jesus we will start growing as a strong faithful bride of Jesus. The churches that live in persecuted countries are growing. And Jesus Himself said we will be persecuted because He was persecuted. 

“Then they will hand you over for persecution, and they will kill you. You will be hated by all nations because of My name.”

Are you ready for this kind of percussion to come to America? We have enjoyed Christian freedom in the past four years under President Donald Trump, but the election is drawing close and there are other people in Washington who do not want to see The church of God survive.

This scenario sounds very similar to the scenario one Jewish girl found herself in. Her name is Ester. She was handpicked to be the queen. Another high ranking official named Haman was determined to kill all the jews to rid them from the kingdom. Ester had the power to stop this attack on Her people but she needed the kings help, but was not invited to his throne. But Ester sought God through prayer and fasting and was granted her request and the Jews were saved.   

“Mordecai told the messenger to reply to Esther, “Don’t think that you will escape the fate of all the Jews because you are in the king’s palace. If you keep silent at this time, liberation and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father’s house will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this.””

God’s people the Jews and His Church will always survive but we should not be the reason why the enemy has access to the church. 

“But you,” He asked them, “who do you say that I am? ” 

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God! ” 

And Jesus responded, “Simon son of Jonah, you are blessed because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but My Father in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the forces of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is already loosed in heaven.” And He gave the disciples orders to tell no one that He was the Messiah.”

So we do not need the world’s pitty because we believe in God will be able to resurrect those who love and obey Him.
