“Now if Christ is proclaimed as raised from the dead, how can some of you say, “There is no resurrection of the dead”?” 1 Corinthians 15:12 HCSB
The Church at Corinth must have had influence from either the Sadducees or another religion that did not believe in the resurrection of the dead. The Sadducees believed that there would be no resurrection of the dead and tried to stump Jesus.
“The same day some Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came up to Him and questioned Him: “Teacher, Moses said, if a man dies, having no children, his brother is to marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother. Now there were seven brothers among us. The first got married and died. Having no offspring, he left his wife to his brother. The same happened to the second also, and the third, and so to all seven. Then last of all the woman died. In the resurrection, therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had married her.”
Jesus answered them, “You are deceived, because you don’t know the Scriptures or the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels in heaven. Now concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read what was spoken to you by God: I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

Paul had a coolant accounter with the Sadducees and Pharisees. He used their differencing of beliefs to shift the focus off of him in toward each other and A guard had to pull him out for fear of Paul’s life.
“When Paul realized that one part of them were Sadducees and the other part were Pharisees, he cried out in the Sanhedrin, “Brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees! I am being judged because of the hope of the resurrection of the dead! ” When he said this, a dispute broke out between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided. For the Sadducees say there is no resurrection, and no angel or spirit, but the Pharisees affirm them all.”

Do we face the Sadducees today in the Church.? Do we have people how claim there is no resurrection? I don’t know of any maybe you do. It is an established fact that Jesus was raised from the dead because the Bible tells us so, but we do have people discrediting the Bible in saying that there will be no second coming of Jesus. But this is a lie because just because He has not come yet does not mean that He will not come but it just means that He is one more day closer to coming to get His bride out of this world.
“For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at His coming, those who belong to Christ.”

“Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.”

“Since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, in the same way God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus. For we say this to you by a revelation from the Lord: We who are still alive at the Lord’s coming will certainly have no advantage over those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.”

Satan as been trying to deceive the Children of God for 6,000 years and the best way to not be deceived is to study the scriptures until you find out the truth for yourself. The Preacher or the teacher may get it wrong on accident or they may get it wrong on purpose. But the Godly preacher and teacher will point you to Jesus and the Bible.
“The people here were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, since they welcomed the message with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.”
