“The last enemy to be abolished is death.” ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:26‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

Sometime in Eternity past God set up a rule that if people sin they will be put to death. And He told the first person that if he, Adam, ate from the tree in the garden, the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he would die. This would be the sin, because Adam along with His wife Eve did exactly what God said not to do, they ate from the tree. So then because they ate death came to the earth to all the people, animals, and plants. So God is ready to return to normal life with no death, so then there would be no more sin. Because if death was done away with then sin the cause of death has to be done away with because it is a law of God that if we sin we will die.

Jesus striped death of its power when He descended into the earth and took the keys away from Satan. But could not abolish death at that time because sin was not finished.

This rule cannot apply to Angles and souls, because they are eternal. It only applies to the flesh of our bodies. That is the reason why Satan has never died and will be locked in The Pit of Eternal Fire. That is also why when we die or are raised to the judgment seat of Christ we will face one of two places to spend eternity, Heaven or Hell. Our Souls will be there in a spiritual body and the impurities of our fleshly body will be gone.

Some people ask why would such a good God send anyone to Hell. Well, why would anyone reject a priceless gift that can give them eternal life and would not have to go to Hell? You see, it is not God who sends them but they reject Jesus as their Savior, Lord, Messiah, and Rabi. God desires that all people find Jesus and will keep calling them until they find Jesus or outright reject Him when they have learned who He is.

“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.”

“Tell them: As I live” — the declaration of the Lord God — “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked person should turn from his way and live. Repent, repent of your evil ways! Why will you die, house of Israel?”
