“Brothers, I tell you this: Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, and corruption cannot inherit incorruption.” 1 Corinthians 15:50 HCSB
God cannot be around corruption. But by the Blood of Jesus, we are cleansed from our corruption. Just as the blood from the sheep and goats cleansed the Israelites for one year. So does the Blood of Jesus but not for one year but for the rest of our life. The Blood of Jesus is not something to take lightly but with great respect. Jesus paid the price for us to join Him in Heaven. What can separate us from that kind of love? Nothing but the unwillingness to repent. Where there is sin God’s grace toward us abounds but that is not a freedom to sin but should be a compelling force to clean up our lives. God extends his grace toward us but we should not have to use it.
“Who can separate us from the love of Christ? Can affliction or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: Because of You we are being put to death all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered. No, in all these things we are more than victorious through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that not even death or life, angels or rulers, things present or things to come, hostile powers, height or depth, or any other created thing will have the power to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord!”

“When he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to the place of his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Therefore produce fruit consistent with repentance. And don’t presume to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’ For I tell you that God is able to raise up children for Abraham from these stones! Even now the ax is ready to strike the root of the trees! Therefore, every tree that doesn’t produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”

“What should we say then? Should we continue in sin so that grace may multiply? Absolutely not! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Or are you unaware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?”
