When we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be. Why because death will have no more victory over us and death will be abolished. 

“Then the sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead; all were judged according to their works. Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”

We often think of death as just not living anymore. But Death is a heavenly being. That was created by God but has been using its power in contradiction to God.

“And I looked, and there was a pale green horse. The horseman on it was named Death, and Hades was following after him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill by the sword, by famine, by plague, and by the wild animals of the earth.”

Death will lose “His” sting and will no longer have victory over the earth. But will be chained and thrown into the Lake of Fire. And the only Power in Heaven on earth will be God!

“Then I heard a loud voice from the throne: Look! God’s dwelling is with humanity, and He will live with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will no longer exist; grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer, because the previous things have passed away.”

For you Christian, keep the faith. No pain now on earth is worth giving up to death for. We have a promise waiting for us in heaven and that is a life free from pain, tears, and death.

For you non-believer, you still have time to repent and find Jesus in your life. Life may be miserable now, but in Jesus, you will escapee into heaven and be safe from the eternal punishment that awaits those who do not follow God, but those who side with the Devil, the beast, and the dragon. 

“The Devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

And anyone not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.”

The Devil, the Beast, the False Prophet, Death, and Hades will be thrown into the lake of life for eternal punishment. They have no choice anymore, They were given a chance to repent before God kicked them out of heaven. But you, man, woman, boy, and girl will have a chance to repent before you die. And you can prevail over death and be alive in Christ.

And may never fall asleep, but be changed.

And will never have to suffer the same consequence as The Devil. And will be able to stand and shout, Death where is your sting. Death where is your victory!

The Word of God is #1 living!

​ I want to take the next 4 to 6 posts in BQTT to dwell on what “the word of God is”. The Word of God is #1 living! In our hands, we do not hold some dusty old relic of some 35 to 40 authors. But a living book written by God through the hands of many different people over 1,000’s of years. Have you ever been reading a normal book and a few words jump off the page to say, “Hey, read me again.”? I bet there have been very few times this has happened, but now, how often have the words written in the Bible done that for you? If you spend any amount of time reading the Bible I would say it has happened more than the normal literature.  Last night I was lying down and a verse reference popped into my head. I did not immediately know the words of this verse but had to look it up.  The verse was, “Who makes a god or casts a metal image for no profit?” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭44‬:‭10‬ ‭HCSB ‬‬ This is another aspect of the Bible being alive.
