In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.2 Corinthians 4:4 HCSB

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up on the last day.

Is coming to Christ our choice? We see that if we have not then the devil has blinded our eyes so that we cannot see the light of the gospel. But then no one can come to the father unless the Father draws us. So we are either blinded or drawn. But once the blinders have come off then it is up to us to choose for ourselves if we accept Jesus' offer to be saved.

God's desire is for everyone to be saved. So then is He always drawing them unto Himself?

“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.   For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“When you enter any town or village, find out who is worthy, and stay there until you leave. and if the household is worthy, let your peace be on it. But if it is unworthy, let your peace return to you.  If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town.
Matthew 10:11‭, ‬13‭-‬14 HCSB

Are we being people of peace and welcoming the message of God? Or are we unworthy of peace and chasing away the very message of peace that was sent to save us?

We cannot be blinded and saved at the same time! If we try to be then we are lukewarm and in a very dangerous place.

I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish that you were cold or hot. So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I am going to vomit you out of My mouth.
Revelation 3:15‭-‬16 HCSB

If we are lukewarm then God can neither draw us nor correct us and He will remove us from His presence.

So today decide to hear God's call and be drawn to Him. And live the rest of your life living for Him as hot as possible.

“Which one of you having a slave tending sheep or plowing will say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and sit down to eat’? Instead, will he not tell him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, get ready,   and serve me while I eat and drink; later you can eat and drink’?  Does he thank that slave because he did what was commanded?   In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, ‘We are good-for-nothing slaves; we’ve only done our duty.’ ”
