So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.2 Corinthians 4:18 HCSBhttps://bible.com/bible/72/2co.4.18.HCSB
Our momentary light affliction is not to be our focus, but rather our absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory should be. However even this should not take our eyes off of God! Because God is the one who provides us with the glory. We look to God the maker of heaven and earth, Jesus the author of our faith, and the Holy Spirit who is the other counselor promised by Jesus.
My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.

All three are God and are unseen along with heaven, angels, our eternal glory, our home built in heaven. All too often we forget that we are not to keep our eyes on the world ut on heavenly things. Our affection is to keep us from looking to heaven but to shift our focus on the pains and trouble of our own little world.
Their end is destruction; their god is their stomach; their glory is in their shame. They are focused on earthly things, but our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.
