The Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and partners of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.Ephesians 3:6 HCSB
To a Jew talking to other Jews or Gentiles the Gentiles are grafted into the vine as the Jews are, but to us, Gentiles, we tend to think that the Jews are grafted into the same vine as we are.
“I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.

Now if some of the branches were broken off, and you, though a wild olive branch, were grafted in among them and have come to share in the rich root of the cultivated olive tree, do not brag that you are better than those branches. But if you do brag — you do not sustain the root, but the root sustains you. Then you will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” True enough; they were broken off by unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you either. Therefore, consider God’s kindness and severity: severity toward those who have fallen but God’s kindness toward you — if you remain in His kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. And even they, if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God has the power to graft them in again. For if you were cut off from your native wild olive and against nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these — the natural branches — be grafted into their own olive tree?

In all reality, both have been grafted into the same vine, Jesus! The Jews are welcome back to God through Jesus and the gentiles are welcomed into Jesus by the same work of Jesus on the cross some 2,000 years ago. We have no extra rights because we are Gentiles and they have no extra rights because they are the descendants of Abraham.
I know you are descendants of Abraham, but you are trying to kill Me because My word is not welcome among you. I speak what I have seen in the presence of the Father; therefore, you do what you have heard from your father.”
“Our father is Abraham! ” they replied.
“If you were Abraham’s children,” Jesus told them, “you would do what Abraham did. But now you are trying to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do this! You’re doing what your father does.”
“We weren’t born of sexual immorality,” they said. “We have one Father — God.”
Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, because I came from God and I am here. For I didn’t come on My own, but He sent Me.

But the Lord said to him, “Go! For this man is My chosen instrument to take My name to Gentiles, kings, and the Israelites.

As they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work I have called them to.” Then after they had fasted, prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them off.

No one is born into the family of God but everyone has to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior and they have to welcome Him into their lives to rule and reign in their hearts. Then and only then will we be called brothers and sisters of Jesus.
He replied to them, “Who are My mother and My brothers? ” And looking about at those who were sitting in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! Whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”

Notice we cannot be a father to Jesus to tell Him what to do. And we are not distant relatives, like aunts, uncles, and cousins, so that we are removed from Jesus. But we are brothers, sisters, and mothers of Jesus so that we share in His house what is His.
Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

We share in His authority. We are to do as our father does. We draw our nutrition from Jesus. We are partners of the promise through Jesus only!
