For this reason I kneel before the Father from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.Ephesians 3:14-15 HCSBhttps://bible.com/bible/72/eph.3.14-15.HCSB
For what reason does Paul kneel before the father? So that His chains should be an encouragement to the readers of Ephesians.
So then I ask you not to be discouraged over my afflictions on your behalf, for they are your glory.

Why does Paul say that all the families are named by God? The first thought that comes to mind is that God is the Father of all people. No matter what "science" says man was created by God!
Then the Lord God formed the man out of the dust from the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being. The man gave names to all the livestock, to the birds of the sky, and to every wild animal; but for the man no helper was found as his complement. So the Lord God caused a deep sleep to come over the man, and he slept. God took one of his ribs and closed the flesh at that place. Then the Lord God made the rib He had taken from the man into a woman and brought her to the man.

We still carry on God's name in our families. This is why we see so much attack on the family, marriage, and sex. The devil wants the family to be redefined according to his definition of family and not God's because the family unit is praise to God.
The second thought about God naming every family is that God names people.
Your name will no longer be Abram, but your name will be Abraham, for I will make you the father of many nations.

All too often our English names have a meaning that can be linked to God. The Hebrew names refected God. I wonder if God influences the parents to name their new babies to fit exactly who they are to be in God and personality. We think we are picking our kids' names but God is picking it for us if we choose to listen.
The greatest name God has for us is son and daughter. We are not sons and daughters of Jesus, but of God. We are not inheriting the kingdom of God from Jesus, but we have already inherited the kingdom from God. We are brothers and sisters to Christ.
He replied to them, “Who are My mother and My brothers? ” And looking about at those who were sitting in a circle around Him, He said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! Whoever does the will of God is My brother and sister and mother.”

The three requirements that Jesus places on being in His family are: doing the will of God, hearing the Word of God, and obeying the Word of God.
Are we hearing the Word of God? Are we obeying what we hear? We will then be doing the will of God! To properly obey the Word of God is to do the will of God. For He has laid out for us what is His will in The Bible.

Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
