I pray that He may grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power in the inner man through His Spirit, and that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith. I pray that you, being rooted and firmly established in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the length and width, height and depth of God’s love, and to know the Messiah’s love that surpasses knowledge, so you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:16‭-‬19 HCSB

3. I pray that the Messiah may dwell in your hearts through faith.

Does the Messiah dwell in our hearts? Does Jesus occupy all of our hearts? There is a booklet that is entitled "My Heart Christ's Home" and in it, the writer goes through and describes each room of the house. He proceeds to give Jesus a grand tour, but when Jesus presses him about a certain room or closet the writer tells Jesus that He cannot go in there because it is not yet cleaned up for Jesus. He makes the point that we can do that with people in our homes but Jesus knows all that is in our life and He wants 100% Lordship of us to Him.

But even if you should suffer for righteousness, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear or be disturbed, but honor the Messiah as Lord in your hearts. Always be ready to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.

For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves because of Jesus.
2 Corinthians 4:5 HCSB

All too often, we set Jesus as savior because we just want hell insurance, but we do not make Jesus our Lord to obey what He has commanded us to do. There will be a day of judgment when We will stand before God and He will ask us, "What have you done with the commands My Son has given you?" What will our response be? Will we be the righteous slave and say, "Lord I have done all that you commanded me." Or will we have to say, "Lord I did nothing with them, but I accepted Jesus as my Savior?"

In the same way, when you have done all that you were commanded, you should say, ‘We are good-for-nothing slaves; we’ve only done our duty.’ ”

That slave whose master finds him working when he comes will be rewarded.
Luke 12:43 HCSB
https://bible.com/bible/72/luk.12.43.HCSB

“For it is just like a man going on a journey. He called his own slaves and turned over his possessions to them. To one he gave five talents; to another, two; and to another, one — to each according to his own ability. Then he went on a journey. Immediately the man who had received five talents went, put them to work, and earned five more. In the same way the man with two earned two more. But the man who had received one talent went off, dug a hole in the ground, and hid his master’s money. “
‘So take the talent from him and give it to the one who has 10 talents. For to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough. But from the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. And throw this good-for-nothing slave into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Matthew 25:14‭-‬18‭, ‬28‭-‬30 HCSB

I ask you did the master dwell in the hearts of the man who had five talents? What about the one who had two talents? What about the one who had one? The master did dwell in the hearts of the men who increased his talents for him. But the man who only received one had no respect for his master and hid his heart before he was given his talent and then resented his master's talent and would not work for his master while he was gone.

I pray that the Messiah may dwell in our hearts through faith just as it did in the servants who were able to return double back to their master. I pray that if we are the one talent servant that we will surrender more rooms to Jesus so that He will become the complete Lord over our lives.
