“Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it." Matthew 7:13-14 HCSB
The road to heaven is going north at 35 MPH and the road to hell is headed south with four lanes at a speed of 85 MPH. What will happen if a Christian were to go off the road to heaven and enter the road to hell?
No this is not a math problem but a life problem. You see that the road to heaven and the road to hell are opposite roads going opposite directions. All too often the road to hell seems inciting. Look how much ground they cover, four lanes at 85 MPH. but what we don't see often enough is the road rage and devilish hazards that await everyone who travels that road.
But the road to heaven is smooth and straight, filled with peace and love. There are billboards every 1 mile reminding us of how much God loves us or reminding us of His mercy that is new every mile.
Here on the road to heaven, there are on ramps allowing people to exit the road to hell and join the few on the narrow way. But also there are exit ramps built by the Devil to entice those who are driving the narrow way and there is a fight in the median over u-turn signs. God installs them but the devil tries to cover them up or remove them.
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

You see that scripture is there to:
1. Teach us how to stay on the road to heaven
2. Rebuke us when we start to take the exit off the narrow way.
3. Correct us when we find ourselves on the broad highway.
4. Train us on how to stay off the highway to hell.
God allows u-turns and will keep working on us until we make it to the destination on our road.
So tell the people: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Return to Me” — this is the declaration of the Lord of Hosts — “and I will return to you, says the Lord of Hosts. Do not be like your ancestors; the earlier prophets proclaimed to them: This is what the Lord of Hosts says: Turn from your evil ways and your evil deeds. But they did not listen or pay attention to Me” — this is the Lord’s declaration.

So what will happen to the Christian who ends up on the road to hell? They will get ran over and hindered the whole way.
“Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.
