“One of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, “You know nothing at all! You’re not considering that it is to your advantage that one man should die for the people rather than the whole nation perish.” He did not say this on his own, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus was going to die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but also to unite the scattered children of God. So from that day on they plotted to kill Him.” John 11:49-53 HCSB
The very reason Jesus came was to die for the people, nations, and the lost children of God. Jesus was born and the first Christmas happened with the wise men because He was going to die thirtyish years later. Christmas happens but we must remember that Easter (Resurrection Sunday) is the reason why we have a Christmas.

“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation.”

If we have not accepted Jesus’ invitation to become a found Child of God then we have lost the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus wants us to be found this Christmas. Will we be found by Jesus so that way He can become not only our Savior but also our Lord!
Merry Christmas one and all.
