You are the sons of the living God
“And the Lord said, “Name him Lo-Ammi, because you are not My people, and I am not your God.”
Yet the number of the sons of Israel will be like the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or counted; And in the place Where it is said to them, “You are not My people,” It will be said to them, “You are the sons of the living God.” And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel will be gathered together, And they will appoint for themselves one leader, And they will go up from the land, For the day of Jezreel will be great.”

When was the first time Judah and Isreal were united? Some will claim that it was when Ezra and Nehemiah brought back the captives from Babylon. But I would argue that that was Judah and not the northern kingdom of Israel. Some will claim that it was when Isreal was established as a nation in our lifetime. But I may argue that it was not the first time. So I have heard a story that brings the two nations together within a few hundred or thousand years.
The northern nation of Isreal was taken captive before the southern Judah into Assyria (northern Iraq and southern Turkey). And they were moved to the northern reaches of Assyria as a buffer between the capital and the raiders of the north. And eventually ended up in Britain in the area of Ireland.
“In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria. He deported the Israelites to Assyria and settled them in Halah and by the Habor, Gozan’s river, and in the cities of the Medes.”

The southern kingdom was deported to Babylon but a remnant remained in Judah. Jeremiah was also left there. They then traveled down to Egypt against Jeremiah’s advice. When they traveled to Egypt the Pharaoh adopted the King's Daughter as his own. But then before Jeremiah died he took her by boat up to Britain and settled her in the area of Ireland. Years later the northern nation and the southern nation through the King’s Daughter joined together by marriage and they appointed one king to rule them in Ireland.
“the men, women, children, king’s daughters, and everyone whom Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, had allowed to remain with Gedaliah son of Ahikam son of Shaphan, along with Jeremiah the prophet and Baruch son of Neriah — and they went to the land of Egypt because they did not obey the voice of the Lord. They went as far as Tahpanhes.”
Jeremiah 43:6-7 HCSB

Now the whole nation has not been gathered together but this might be the first time the two kingdoms have lived in unity under one king. And out of these people came the blessing of Britain and the United States.
I will once again say this is a story I have heard and it may or may not be true. Only God knows and he has established that he would never have a king ruling in David’s place. We look forward to having Jesus reign as the true King over the whole world shortly. But God still had his hand on the true nation of Isreal through the time of captivity, Roman rule, and the life of Jesus till today. And now we live in the place Where it is said to them, “You are not My people,” It will be said to them, “You are the sons of the living God.”
