The mountain, city, temple of God!
“Many nations will come and say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord And to the house of the God of Jacob, That He may teach us about His ways And that we may walk in His paths.”
For from Zion will go forth the law, Even the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.”
Micah 4:2 NASB1995

As bad as the world was and is according to chapter 3, God has a plan for the future. And that is to establish His mountain and His house here among His people. He will rule as King of king and Lord of Lords in His Jerusalem which will be 1,500 miles square.
“The city is laid out as a square, and its length is as great as the width; and he measured the city with the rod, fifteen hundred miles; its length and width and height are equal. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.”
Revelation 21:16, 23 NASB1995

People from all over will gather there to be taught by God. We will no longer have deceitful priests or righteous priests but we will all be taught by God! And his words will continue out of Jerusalem drawing all to His mountain, city, and house. We will be welcomed into his Holy dwelling and not into a copy of it behind the curtain into the Holy of Holies. Nor into a man-made house set apart for the worship of God but into God’s house made by God!
From His House, He will Teach us and He will also judge between disputes both in personal and national matters. We will no longer need judges, juries, or executioners. Each man will live in peace with his neighbors. Each nation will live at peace with other nations. He will gather for Himself the lame, the crippled, and the outcast to establish them as a nation. Those who were out-cast as unclean because of ailments that God caused will be gathered to Himself as a nation on Mount Zion.
Where do those who served God fit into God’s plan of Zion?
“He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father;”
Revelation 2:26-27 NASB1995

“He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he will not go out from it anymore; and I will write on him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name.”
Revelation 3:12 NASB1995

We will be governors in nations and elders in His temple. We will not rule in our own power but according to His will. And we will not worship and guide to lift us up but Him only. I wonder what it meant when he will not go out from it anymore (Revelation 3:12)? Do you think we will stay there all the time? Or will it be that we will not be leaving God’s temple to find another temple to worship in? Maybe both but most definitely I think it will be that we will not be longing to move to another temple.
What a great day it will be when the days of man are extinguished and the days of God will be fully lit.
“He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”
