“They”’s or “I”’s. You choose!
“Then they will cry out to the Lord, But He will not answer them. Instead, He will hide His face from them at that time Because they have practiced evil deeds.”

“On the other hand I am filled with power— With the Spirit of the Lord— And with justice and courage To make known to Jacob his rebellious act, Even to Israel his sin.”
Micah 3:8 NASB1995

I want to contrast the people of verse 4 “they” and Micah “I” in verse 8. If you want to find out the deeds “they” have practiced you will have to read verses 2 & 3. But let me say this they are unspeakable deeds and would make most people’s stomachs sick. And there are people in these last days that are doing the same thing. In the days when their practices are exposed, they will cry out to God but He will be unmoved and unresponsive because they did not turn from their evil deeds before it was too late.
On the other hand, Micah was filled with power of the Holy Spirit to call “them” out for their deeds. He was doing what was right in God’s sight and was rewarded with justice and courage to do what God was wanting him to do.
Likewise today we have people doing the same deeds as “they” did so therefore we have people who are standing up for judgment and courage in God’s sight and are strengthened by God’s hand to accomplish His work. Will we be found among the “I”’s or will we be among the “they”’s? I want to be found in the “I”’s and want to separate myself from the acts that might include me in the “they”’s. And that only comes through the repentance that the Holy Spirit convicts and Jesus forgives. And we have to rely on the power of the Holy Spirit in justice and courage.
One last thing. I noticed that Micah was to make known to Jacob his rebellious act, even to Israel his sin. What Micah was to make known was a singular act and sin. What would that be? I think we can find it out in the opening of verse 2.
“You who hate good and love evil,…”

When this attitude is welcomed all other acts and sins are welcomed and performed. Let us be a people who do the opposite and love good and hate evil.
Great and awesome God we ask you to give us a love and passion for the good things of You and this word. And develop a hatred for the evil that surrounds us to entrap us to drag us down to the destruction that is set before the Devil and his angels. Lord rescue us so that we may be saved in your presence of justice and courage!
“Then He will also say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;”

“Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”
