The builder of all things is God
“For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.”
Hebrews 3:4 NASB1995

“Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain.”
Psalms 127:1 NASB1995

“All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.”
John 1:3 NASB1995

What is it that we are building today? I am not only talking about physically, but spiritually also. We can plan to build a house in the middle of a forest to escape from all things and people, but if God is not wanting us to do then we labor in vain. We can also be trying to build a ministry, but once again if God is not in it it will be less fruitful than what God wants us to build.
Moses was entrusted with building the tent of meeting for God based on the heavenly objects that he saw. King David later had it in his heart to build God a temple that was built solid and not a movable tent, but God would not allow David to build it because he was a man of war and bloodshed. So God required that Solomon build the temple instead of David. Had David started to build it God would not have been in it and possibly not be in it when Solomon finished it.
“But a man named Ananias, with his wife Sapphira, sold a piece of property, and kept back some of the price for himself, with his wife’s full knowledge, and bringing a portion of it, he laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
Acts 5:1-2 NASB1995

Ananias and Sapphira intended to build their own lives and keep back money that was to be given to the church. He soon found himself confronted by God and stepped into eternity unwilling to use the money. His wife soon encountered the same fate. The Lord was not in their decision but had they been faithful they would have seen their money increase 1,000-fold to accomplish what God had in store for them.
“Now Joseph, a Levite of Cyprian birth, who was also called Barnabas by the apostles (which translated means Son of Encouragement), and who owned a tract of land, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.”
Acts 4:36-37 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/act.4.36-37.NASB1995
Barnabas did bring all the money for his sale and give it to God for use in the church and was rewarded by leading Paul into the mission field first, at Antioch then on to the rest of the Roman empire.
When we build in the physical and the spiritual the way God would want us to then we will be blessed beyond what we could be in the eyes of men. Is the Lord financing what we are building today?
