They are here to minister to us.
“Are they (angels) not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?”
Hebrews 1:14 NASB1995

While Hebrews 1 is quoting Old Testament scripture about Jesus and God the writer is also trying to show us that 2/3 of the angels are there for our service. The other 1/3 have been cast down with Satan and now they don't minister but they make our lives miserable.
“And He said to them, “I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning.”
Luke 10:18 NASB1995

“Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. And his tail *swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child.”
Revelation 12:3-4 NASB1995

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.”
Mark 8:38 NASB1995

“When Jesus saw that a crowd was rapidly gathering, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “You deaf and mute spirit, I command you, come out of him and do not enter him again.”
Mark 9:25 NASB1995

So what do we do with the “holy angels” if they are here to be ministers to us? Can we ask God to send them to us, to our Church, to our friends, and to the kids?
“And whoever receives one such child in My name receives Me; but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea... See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face of My Father who is in heaven.”
Matthew 18:5-6, 10 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/mat.18.10.NASB1995
I think we can!
Can we ask God to send different types of angels?
“Then he said to me, “Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.”
Daniel 10:12-13 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/dan.10.12-13.NASB1995
We have no record of what Daniel had prayed but it was an urgent need/request and as soon as it reached God he sent this messenger angel with the answer, but then was delayed by an evil spirit until Michael (a warrior angel) could come to free up the first angel to continue with his message to Daniel.
So then can we ask God to dispatch warrior angels to minister to those who will inherit salvation? I do believe we can! Can we send a message through prayer through God via a messenger angel to those who will inherit salvation? I do believe we can! The only thing I think we should not do is start commanding angels but rather start by asking God to command His angels.
“But one has testified somewhere, saying, “What is man, that You remember him? Or the son of man, that You are concerned about him? You have made him for a little while lower than the angels; You have crowned him with glory and honor, And have appointed him over the works of Your hands; You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.”
Hebrews 2:6-9 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/heb.2.7-9.NASB1995
Jesus was made a little lower than the angels for a time while He was here in the flesh. So then we are also a little lower than the angels while we are in the flesh. This also puts us below God, but Jesus closed that gap for us to reinstitute fellowship for Adam’s kids with God!
“Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?”
1 Corinthians 6:3 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/1co.6.3.NASB1995
After we are taken out of this fleshly body and given our incorruptible body we will then be lifted up to judge the angels! But for now, we are under their power. The holy angels are there to serve and unite while the unclean angels are here to sever and divide us.
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
Mark 10:45 NASB1995
https://bible.com/bible/100/mrk.10.45.NASB1995
While it was Jesus who said this about Himself it also stands to reason that this applies to the angels who are above us but are here to minister to us also! Just remember that for every 1 unclean spirit that is against you, you have 2 that are for you! And then you have the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and God who shifts all scales in your favor!
“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things? Who will bring a charge against God’s elect? God is the one who justifies; who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, “For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; We were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.” But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
